Endurance Cup Victory at 2 hours!
December 8, Rozzano was held on the fifth edition of the Memorial Egidio Moroni, 2 hours endurance Cup organized by Clubkart and Bigkart. VRM for the occasion brought out no less than 2 team, the first crew of Vieri Lorenzo Dodo Regazzoni and David Montoro, the second consisting of Emanuele Sala, Andrea and David Vieri Landolfo.
And for the second consecutive year VRM won this event with a good distance from pursuers while VRM 2 also due to a kart race 2 still ranks in 5th place overall.
Now our attention is the next season in which VRM will try to confirm the good performance achieved so far.

VRM 2nd place at 3 hours of Ottobiano
VRM Good result for the three hours of Ottobiano staged on November 30 last year. Cold, rain and snow on the track did not stop David Montoro, Lorenzo and Davide Landolfo Vieri, the latter in his debut season. Too bad only having run for an hour with a kart with no brakes, accusing the first places a large gap (about 2 turns). But then changing the kart things have changed dramatically and with a race pace faster than the competition we went from 8th to 2nd place finish. It 'was a fantastic race, well organized by the South runway of Milan Ottobiano'll make sure that if and reorganized in the future.

Jesolo The track hosted the 2nd and final Kart Endurance Series round of the Business, the "Mini" Cup for gentlemen drivers, mostly organized by Birel and businesses with their own kart equipped with the Subaru 4-stroke engines. The race proved to be exciting and thrilling, like a sprint race, underlining once again how winning the format of professional endurance races and the structure of Birel Motorsport, able to provide all the teams in the struggle for success means fundamentally identical. After the 1st test at Monza, the teams in contention for the overall title were VRM Tack System, leader of the standings with 77 points and Kayak, 2nd in 9 lengths. Practice
After the usual ritual operations (credit, pass distribution, construction and decoration kart box) starting at 10.00 free trials are not valid for the grid. VRM Team wins the championship with a sensational performance BIREL Business Series by tearing out the fingernails of a seasoned team and hypercompetitive "Kayak" getting Superpole victory in Race 1 and second place in race 2.
Practice
After the usual ritual operations (credit, pass distribution, construction and decoration kart box) starting at 10.00 free trials are not valid for the grid. The kart looks good and in fact we are now competitive, far less than a tenth from "Sorci Verdi" satellite crew of "Kayak" proved very competitive with the new Birel kart-Subaru. After the tests, however, we notice that the kart loses gasoline and we do not immediately repair to the risk of jeopardizing the strategies of supply. Optimism reigns in the box.
Superpole

But a sensational final round of driving Santolini constantly gaining 1 second per lap on the "Kayak" which we believe Pick had problems because the gasoline tank was virtually empty, and the last lap passes with a delay of 5 / 10 . And so the third hairpin of the track in Jesolo launched his winning attack and so we win a race with only 9 / 10 ahead of Kayak, but with enough petrol to start from the grid, unlike rivals who pass the finish line only with gasoline in the carburetor.
The joy for this victory is huge. The advantage to "Kayak" rose to 15 points.

Race 2

Date: 27-28-29 June 2008
Pilots : Vieri Lorenzo , David Montoro, Regazzoni Dodo, Marco Zipoli, Vigan Stefano, Luca Fioravanti
Pit lane : Emanuele Sala, David Landolfo.

VRM great triumph of the team at the Cup in Milan Fair. Centered victory and pole position in both races and receives the prize "Fair Play" in a race for being the only team not to have granted Stop & Go. But we begin to talk about this weekend triumphant.
Friday, June 27 (+ free qualifying race 1)
Meeting at 17.00 for the whole team starts to turn walking the track to discover the secrets and especially the large depressions present. The track immediately showed great speed to the eye, yet dangerous because there were very decisive and pull the areas where the track was narrow.
After being credited with many difficulties, at 22.00 an hour late start free practice. We are now very competitive and in fact we in the lead right now, but shortly after the start of the tests begins to enter the safety several times not allowing us to understand the track until one hour after the red flag comes to fix the track. From the stop we were still one hour in the pits, the time lost is not recovered and finished the 3 laps with virtually free-to-head starts. For the record fastest time in free practice done by Marco Zipoli with 1.46.6. Starting with the qualifications for which is appointed David Montoro that trims 1.4 seconds for the second place, with a time of 1.44.8. After declining from karts and have received compliments from all over the paddock, David said: "I seemed to have gone up." At this point, let alone going strong .. Moral of the story: according to the timing had to finish by midnight was past one o'clock instead of a piece when we were able to reach the hotel. But the satisfaction of the pole for the race gave us morale that would have held a few hours later.

I think Saturday was one of the toughest days of my life both mentally and physically. After sleeping for about three hours we are off for the 12 hour race 1. Marco Zipoli designated for it now that takes a good margin is increased by Montoro and Fioravanti. Arrived about an hour of the race with 40 'convenience, safety comes before 5 that the compacts group. After these 5 safety revenue in about two hours, we are still five teams enshrined in less than 10 seconds as in spite girassimo getting stronger, we could not take off because of constant interruptions. Lap with flags prepared specially by our sponsors for the event and award ceremony to follow race 1. But you could not relax too much, as there was to focus on race 2 with practice and qualifying.
Race 2, however, would be played in the opposite direction to race 1. At 22.30 the start of race 2 free with about 1h30 late. But this time, both for the few teams left in either the experience of a race, are held in the liberal peace without red blindfold and without safety. Best time ever Zipoli with 1.43.8 with a lead of 1 second over all. Qualifications this time assigned to Zipoli who manages to pull a Tempone: 1.42.910. Only Porsche manages to get anywhere with 5 tenths. The others are back. At 2 we left the circuit to lie down.

Departure at 9 am as written in the timing (perhaps it was the only time respected throughout the event). Zipoli always start that can keep your head, however, tailed by a Porsche and Trigger. We understand now that the level was much higher on the day before and reconfirm it would be difficult. Trigger fact take the lead, thanks to an injury Montoro and penalize them for that Zipoli Throughout the second race. In fact, in Game 2 will run very little. Then tap the "followers" try to compensate for the absence of our two samples, and it is here that came out the true spirit of the team. Lap after lap Fioravanti, Vigan, Regazzoni Vieri and lower their lap time maintaining an impressive pace and managed to stay a few seconds behind the leader, never more than 30 'despite a major step.
But the seventh hour of the race the kart race leader betrays him and breaks. He stands at a point far away from the pits and lost about 2 laps. Time Limit Of Using Ervamatin
Getting ready for the race Fiera Milano

Race : Business Championship Series Round 1 6 hours of Monza.
Location: Autodromo di Monza (parking lot of the "dish".
Date: June 21, 2008.
Pilots : Vieri Lorenzo, David Montoro, Marco Mapelli, Stefano Gai.
Pit lane : Emanuele Sala, David Landolfo.
Team Manager: Lorenzo Vieri.
Finally, after Jesolo and Pomposa, comes the long awaited victory for the team VRM during the 6 hours of Monza, the first round of the Business Series BIREL.
Practice
During the 60 minutes of practice, the team remained consistently in the top 5 absolute positions and, after becoming acquainted with the track, he set the fastest time with David Montoro, who has trimmed almost only 6 laps 8 / 10 second chronograph clocked by "Aurora Insurance". Qualifications

Follow "VRK" and "Kayak" which has now climbed to third place to the sound of fast laps.
Race 2
A rule that characterizes this beautiful season is starting in Game 2 on arrival in the reverse order of race 1.
